Hi dear bloggy friends,

I don’t really know how many of you there are, but I would like some input from you, and it’s easy. I need new books to read. I’m in a bit of a sci-fi rut, and need a way to snap out of that rut. I know everyone who reads this is a wonderfully bright, intelligent person and I would love your book recommendations.

Guidelines:

  • The book should be a trade paperback so I can fit it in my purse
  • Under $20.00
  • Not sci-fi or fantasy
  • Not by Douglas Coupland as I’ve read all of his books already

I would love it if you would simply comment below with a recommendation. Authour and Title, and if you want a brief synopsis.

Thanks!

  1. Will e-mail you this week with a big huge list.

  2. Life of Pi

  3. I’ve read Life Of Pi. I really liked it.

  4. Looking at the shelf behind me – Life of Pi (yes, I know…), A Prayer for Owen Meany, The World According to Garp, anything by Christopher Moore (Lamb, Fluke, Bloodsucking Fiends…)… that’ll give you a start anyway.
